Cedar Lane is based out of La Salette, ON and is a small family-run business. The Cedar Lane team utilizes their knowledge of the building industry and interior design expertise to create beautifully balanced spaces that feel refreshingly modern and endlessly classic. Our team approaches each design challenge as an opportunity to find a unique design vision for our clients. From concept to completion, the Cedar Lane team simplifies the custom home building process to make it easy and straightforward for you. We’re not your average home building company. While our main focus is quality and higher standards, our creative team has a true passion for design, accompanied by the ability to understand the specific style of each client and marrying it with the Cedar Lane aesthetic. As a result, our clients move into an inviting and approachable space, but most importantly, a home that will stand the test of time.

/ DISCOVERY

We begin with an online questionnaire to gain insight into you, your family and your project.

 

/ CONSULTATION

Our first meeting will make sure we are the perfect match for each other. We’ll share our process in more detail and answer any questions or concerns you may have. During this time we will also discuss home design, theme, layout, floor plan, lot size and of course budget.

/ CONCEPTULIZATION

If we achieve alignment during the DISCOVERY + CONSULTATION process, it’s time to design – moving ideas into blueprints and design boards. We share a range of preliminary designs for your home to consider and provide feedback on. 

 

/ FINANCIAL

We respect the financial commitment required to build a new home. After the initial plans are made, we will create an fixed price over the next 2-6 weeks. Bidding projects are important to ensure the costs align with your budget. The initial estimate will help determine if we need to tweak plans to accommodate.

/ DESIGN + LOGISTICTS

Concepts become concrete plans as we finalize your home and make all selections.

/ CONSTRUCTION

Once a design is approved, we coordinate a timeline and our team meets weekly to review the status of your build. Wesend you weekly updates on the overall construction progress, which allows for regular discussion points along the way.

/ WELCOME HOME

We walk you through your home 2-3 weeks prior to possession to address any items that need attention. This is a chance to make your move-in day perfect. We complete this process with you again on the day your take possession. Once settled in we maintain an open dialogue and schedule home checks at different intervals.

 

/ FURNITURE + FINAL TOUCHES

An optional service offered by our team. From blinds to rugs, furniture to artwork, our team can help select and install.

BUILDING LOTS

Choose to build on one of our available lots, let us find one for you or have your own. 

Location is an important step of the custom home process and determines a lot of factors moving forward.
